In the meanwhile, FMP (Full Metal Pokémon) sounds like it would be an interesting take. But anime is not my forte, so less greatness would need to be expected of me >.< As to series, of anime I cannot say I know many more. The only Animes I watched full through were Elfen Lied and the first season-thinger of Rozen Maiden. Otherwise, my movies usually consist of sci-fi and fantasy (some which are also books); The Lord of the Rings Chronicles of Narnia Farscape & The Peacekeeper Wars Firefly & Serenity FFVII Advent Children That is off the top of my head. But you get the idea. Big fantasy/sci-fi freak. Yup.
